About Caroline

I have had a virtual assistance company for the last nine years and decided a while back that I spent way too many hours sitting at a desk.  Humans aren’t meant to sit down on their backsides for hours on end – we were made to move around! I discovered walking as a great way to stay fit and the easiest solution to incorporate exercise into an already packed day.  Taking on a long distance walk has been a long term promise to myself that I finally get to keep this summer – can’t wait – and a big thank you to Carla for being crazy enough to accompany me from one side on England to the other!

I was minding my own business one day when I got a letter from Caroline.  (Understand that she and I communicate electronically all the time, so getting something via snail mail from her was a surprise).  She explained that she had had a dream for years to take one of the long-distance walks in England.  Was I game to go along?  I said yes, and here we are one year later getting ready to go on our big adventure.This journey, for many reasons, will expand the boundaries of my “comfort zone.”  I’ll be away from my husband and son for 17 days.  I’ll hand over management of my business to a colleague.  I’ll have  to pee outside sometimes.  I will be in another country.  I’m sure it doesn’t sound too overwhelming to some, but it’s definitely a huge stretch for me.
